Open Mic Night @ Mokah Coffee Bar has been getting goooooood. Last week we had so much talented folks come and share their songs, spoken word, and even solo trumpet playing! Every Tuesday night make Mokah your regular hang out to enjoy some espresso, meet new people, and listen to great local performers.

Recycled Grounds →
For all of those out there who consider themselves gardeners, whether you have a small herb garden or a vegetable garden, this link is something you will want to read! Discarded coffee grounds can work as a great component to your soil that gives plants an extra boost of nitrogen!
You can always come in to Mokah Coffee Bar and request some grounds for your growing plants!

Introducing the Chemex →
This is just one of the many ways to brew coffee. The Chemex was invented in the 1940s by a guy named Peter Schlumbohm. It was only until recently, though, that the Chemex started becoming popular among the average coffee drinker.

Haiti Results!
Thanks so much for coming out everyone! We were able to raise a little over 1,000 dollars to send over to Convoy of Hope to help them in their mission of helping Haiti during this critical time of need.
so thank you for giving, hanging out, and drinking some dang good Mokah coffee :)
